President Message

My dear fellow Rotarians,

It is with immense pride and humility that I address you as the President of the Rotary Club of Delhi Vasant Valley for the Rotary Year 2025–2026. I'm incredibly excited for the journey we're about to embark on together.

This year, Rotary International President Francesco Arezzo has given us a powerful message: "Unite for Good." This theme perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Rotary — the idea that when we come together, pooling our diverse talents, resources, and passion, there's no limit to the positive change we can create in our community and beyond.

"Unite for Good" isn't just a slogan; it's a call to action. It reminds us that our collective strength is our greatest asset. As we look ahead, I envision a year where we truly live this theme through impactful projects that make a tangible difference. Here are a few key areas where I believe we can "Unite for Good" and create lasting change:

• Empowering Youth through Vocational Training: We'll focus on skill development programs for underprivileged youth in our local communities. By uniting with vocational institutes and local businesses, we can provide training in high-demand fields, opening doors to sustainable livelihoods and brighter futures.
• Promoting Health and Hygiene in Rural Schools: Our club will expand its commitment to improving sanitation and access to clean water. We'll set up handwashing stations, distribute hygiene kits, and deliver hygiene education, particularly in rural schools.
• Supporting Environmental Sustainability through Urban Greening Initiatives: Delhi faces significant environmental challenges. We'll partner with local NGOs and community groups to launch urban tree plantation drives and promote responsible waste management practices, contributing to a greener, healthier city.

These are just a few ideas, and I truly believe that the best projects come from the collective wisdom and passion of our club. I encourage each of you to bring your ideas forward, participate actively, and unite your efforts for the greater good.

Let’s make this year one of unprecedented collaboration, meaningful service, and profound impact. Together, we can truly "Unite for Good" and demonstrate the power of Rotary.
